Every month, we feature a member of our team here at Main Street ROI. This month, we’re featuring our Client Operations Manager, Andrea Rozman.

How did you get into operations?

I stepped into a job in the pharma industry in IT project management.  Project management, coordination, operations all go hand-in-hand.  I worked heavily in maintaining and tracking projects from start to finish.  From that job onward I worked in several other industries including healthcare and automotive, also in IT, tracking, doing process analysis, writing manuals and technical docs.  I love the structure and flow of making things work properly.

What do you like most about working with small business clients?

When you work with large corporations, sometimes it’s hard for them to see the details necessary to make things happen.  Small businesses see all the details.  When it’s just one or two people running a business, it’s very personal.  It’s close, and there is a lot of dedication because they’re putting in 24 hours a day to make it work right.

What do you like most about working at Main Street ROI?

I appreciate the fact that everyone here is extremely dedicated to helping our clients grow their businesses and be successful.  It’s not a machine that churns out numbers or reports.  Everything is very personal, which is hard to find in a business.

What do you like to do outside of the office?

When my son was younger, I was a supermom, volunteering for everything at school.  Now that he’s a teenager, I just like hanging out at home with him and my husband – and cat.  We are a football family, and we eagerly await Fall each year so that the new season starts.  During the summer we take a family vacation – somewhere.  It’s a democracy and we vote each December on where we’re going to trek next.  I got to travel a lot as a kid, so now I love taking my son on trips around the country, and even here in Michigan, too.

What trend are you most excited about for small businesses?

I’m always interested in what’s next in terms of technology.  What’s the next cool tool or app that’s going to come out that can help an entrepreneur or small business?  What’s being developed in some small office corner somewhere in the world that is going to change the way we think?  That’s exciting!
