Our digital advertising services consist of two phases: Setup and Ongoing Optimization.
Phase 1: Campaign Setup
If you’re new to advertising, we’ll determine the best ad outlet to start with based on your type of business, and we’ll set up a brand new campaign for you.
And if you’re already advertising, we’ll review and “tune up” your existing campaigns.
Here are the steps we take during Campaign Setup:
1. Keyword & Audience Research
The first step is to identify how/where to reach your prospects online. For example, we’ll research which keyword phrases your prospects are searching in Google to research and shop for your products and services. We’ll also review how to target your ideal demographic audience on Facebook.
2. Competitor Research
The second step is to review your competitors to discover what their budgets are, and what types of targeting, ads, and landing pages are already working in your market.
3. Ad Copywriting
The third step is to draft your ad copy to make sure your ads, offer, and landing page are all congruent with the audience/keywords we found in steps 1 and 2.
4. Landing page design, layout, and copywriting
The fourth step is to create your landing page(s). A landing page is the page the prospect “lands” on after clicking your ads. A good landing page will convert more visitors into leads and sales.
5. Online & phone call conversion tracking
The fifth step is to install online and phone call conversion tracking so we can measure the number of leads and sales generated directly from your advertising campaign. Conversion tracking needs to be installed so we can calculate your return on investment (ROI) and see exactly which ads are profitable.
6. Campaign setup and settings
The final step is to set up your campaign and ensure the correct settings are in place. For example, with Google AdWords, we’ll ensure your network targeting, geo-targeting, device targeting, ad extensions, and conversion tracking are all correct. With Facebook, we’ll make sure to target proper age, geography, and other settings.
Phase 2: Ongoing Management
We will manage and optimize your campaigns to maximize your return on investment (ROI). Here’s everything that is included in Ongoing Optimization:
1. Bid optimization and budget management
We will edit your bids and budgets to maximize your return on investment. For example, we will raise bids to drive more traffic from profitable keywords/audiences, and lower bids to reduce traffic from unprofitable keywords/audiences.
2. A/B split-testing of ads and landing pages
We will test different ad and landing page copy to improve the ad click through rates and sales conversion rates as part of the management service. A/B split testing is the process of testing 2 different versions of ads or landing pages (i.e. version A vs. version B) to see which one performs better over time.
3. Consulting to improve campaign performance
We will provide recommendations to improve your campaign performance. This includes your lead generation, sales and follow-up processes. Our goal is to continually improve your advertising ROI so you can profitably expand the campaign.
4. Campaign expansion
Once the campaign is profitable, then we will work to expand to drive even more leads and sales. For example, within Google AdWords we can expand to more keywords on the Search Network and more website placements on the Display Network, as well as YouTube and remarketing. Within Facebook, we can test additional audiences.
5. Reporting & Office Hours
We will provide monthly reporting to show you your campaign performance. Plus, we’re available every week during our office hours to answer questions and provide feedback.
