Hey, this is Riley with Main Street ROI and this is how to optimize your Google ads account in 60 seconds.
So first of all, search terms.
This is a big one.
This is where I see the largest amount of ad spend getting wasted.
You want to go to your campaigns search terms and you want to look through these and see if these are relevant.
If these are not meaning the things that people are typing into Google, if these are not relevant and you’re paying for them, click on them, add them as a negative keyword.
I would add them to a negative keywords list and do that regularly.
Second thing, ads use responsive search ads.
We’re done with expanded text ads.
That’s over with.
We are in the age of responsive search ads.
These are are going to include multiple options, multiple headlines and descriptions to give Google more options at auction time.
Which basically means that your ads are going to be more likely to be competitive when choosing whose ads to show.
So this is going to help with ad rank.
Use responsive search ads and 3rd tip.
Is going to be utilized dynamic keyword insertion.
So this is wildly underutilized and yet it does wonders for ad relevance, quality score, and ultimately paying less for clicks.
So in order to do that, you would type in a squiggly bracket here and insert dynamic keywords.
In fact, we have a video on that, but I hope this has been useful for you.
Please go out and implement these changes and you are sure to see improvement in your account.
